So it's not unknown to many of you how much I enjoy knitting and crocheting.
And it's not unknown that I am studying nursing and finding out some pretty awesome and mind-blowing things.
While studying is enjoyable because I like what I'm learning about, I also need some time away from study, and essays and mini online tests.
During this 'downtime' I like to watch T.V. shows, like I'm currently making my way through season 7 of House, I also have been busily finishing off a blanket I started yonks ago (last year) and finally finished it and wanted to share with you.
I've also been making a few things for my niece but I want them to be a surprise for my sis!!
Linking up today with Jess for
With winter coming on my bag will come down from the top of the wardrobe and out will come the knitting. Love it.
ReplyDeleteMy knitting is out all year round, I'm a massive knitting addict!
DeleteBlanket looks great!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Took me ages!!!
DeleteFantastic to finish an old project. Ooo.. I cant wait to see Punky modelling some of your work!
ReplyDeleteAnd can I just say, I am in awe of the medical professions and I take my hat off to you and also thank you for taking on such a career. #teamIBOT
Thanks! It's nice to hear! I really believe healthcare workers should be thanked often as they usually don't have to deal with easy people!
DeleteDo you wanna finish my blanket for me? I don't think it is ever going to get finished! And can't wait to see what you are knitting. Did I ask you to knit a beanie for the new baby yet? I figure since she will be a winter baby and all we may get some decent wear out of it!
ReplyDeleteYou're up next weekend right? What do you go home, will we see you at A's before you head back?
Hehehe, well I will say that a beanie is ONE of the things I'm making PJ#2, I've made a small one, I think it's small, not quite sure if it'll fit, but the good thing with crocheting is if its too short I can just add a few extra rows quite easily!
DeleteI will be up the weekend of mothers day, for our Godson's 1st birthday, but I'm not sure if we will stay till sunday night, I have uni on the monday, but only a 2 hr class, so we'll just have to wait and see.
Well done! I frequently think about learning to crochet, but I haven't got there yet. Maybe one day. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Crocheting is very easy, once you've gotten your head around it, I highly suggest buying a book (or watching youtube if you that kind of learner) I bought a patons learn to crochet book and it has taught me all I know!
