1 hour, 7 minutes, 24 seconds
Thats the time I completed the 9km bridge run on sunday the 16th of September!!
7min29sec per kilometer!!
I'm so proud of this time!
The time I did the 9km the weekend before I did it in 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Next years goal is 1 hour flat!
My next goal is too run a half marathon.......
Yes that's right, a half marathon, 21km, the runs in May...
My sister A completed a half marathon this past May, if she can I can!
She's such a good motivator, makes it your choice, and if I want changes, I need to do something about it.
So lets hope I can keep the training for the run going by myself. A very big task!!
Starting with numbers, lets end with numbers.
25 days till my hens night.
54 days till my kitchen tea.
65 days till baby Mia turns 1!!!
74 days until my wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love countdowns! (and lists but I'm trying not to be too dorky!)

Congrats!!!! What a fab time. Very inspiring. And so exciting that it's only 74 sleeps to your wedding. Enjoy the lead up xx
ReplyDeleteHello from #teamIBOT!
Thanks, it was a tough 10 weeks of training but crossing the finish line was very fulfilling!
DeleteCongratulations!! THATS A FABULOUS EFFORT!!!
ReplyDeleteWell done :) Keep it up!!!
#teamIBOT was here to say hello!
Thanks, Yvette, it was so much fun and hard work achieving this goal, but I did it!
DeleteWell done!!!! What a fantastic effort!!
ReplyDeleteThanks heaps! I'm so glad I did it, running is better than I thought it would be!
DeleteWell done ! I did the 10km GC run at the end of June - it was so much fun !!!! Glad you enjoyed it - I have recently started running again after taking a break after the race due to knee issues.
ReplyDeleteRecently we did the 5km Stampede at Woodford. We have now signed up for Warrior Dash in November and then the 10km Stampede next year.
Have a great day !
Me
PS - sharing the IBOT love.
That's awesome!! The girls I met doing cantoo are going to continue running on saturday mornings, so I might join in, I'd like to do 10ks without stopping and continue running in prep for a bigger run. I've never been much of a runner but I really enjoyed it in a team. I'm moving in a few months and hopefully I can find a running program to help me stay motivated! Shall visit your blog and leave some comment love!
DeleteWell done on the run for cure! I really should start running or get my butt in training again tis been way to long *sigh* :-)
ReplyDeleteYou should check out cantoo's website! They have training programs in brisbane, sydney and melbourne, its only 100 dollars to have 10 whole weeks of training with a personal coach and a great community to raise money and awareness for cancer! It is hard motivating yourself, I struggle with that, but cantoo made it so much easier with the team support!
DeleteYay for you! I'd love to run in a race like this one day! I'm just waiting for my ankle to heal from spraining it!
ReplyDeleteOhhh thats no good. I hate injuries, there were a few in our groups, but they powered on, slowly but they crossed the finish line!! Cantoo teaches you ways in which to reduce the likeliness of hurting yourself but it still happens. Hope you ankle heals soon and you can achieve this goal!!
